The Story of Wall Played [June 2022 Update]

Out of the darkness.

As a marketing, manufacturing, and design shop, MAD has always been known to push the creative limits of designing, making, and installing. In early 2021, MAD created a working prototype (nothing pictured to the left) of an LED-powered sign. Reception from everyone in the office was positive, and the belief was that there was an opportunity in a market.

So, with the sign off of Owner and President, Michael Drozdowski, we set out to make LED wall art and signs for a few of our clients to get their reaction. Again, the reception was overwhelmingly positive.

By combining ideas in the shop, MAD Creative Concepts has created custom LED-powered light-up signs in-house and mass produced them for business use. A few examples can be found below. Not satisfied with just business use, the team worked through 2021 to create the consumer shop you see today, Wall Played.

Leaning on the creative and manufacturing abilities, Wall Played launched on Etsy in October 2021. Shortly after, wallplayed.com followed with expanded LED gift offerings.

Since then, we've added more talent to the team with graphic designer 'Jacob Gleason' and account relationship manager, Collin Taylor. Both individuals work with our senior graphic designer, Alessandro Delle Valle, and print room manager 'John Schneider' to create and produce our wall art.

Today, we are eight passionate, creative, and skilled team members creating LED wall art for the everyday consumer. Our mission is simple, to bring joy to each valued customer, (that's you!), by providing high-quality LED wall art options that are more creative, customizable, and eco-friendly than the alternatives for your home, rentals, offices, businesses, or whatever space you see fit.

Our warehouse is located in southeast Michigan. Each piece of wall art is designed, cut, printed, and assembled in our warehouse and shipped nationwide.
